What Happens when a Student Retakes an SKA

SKAs (Subject Knowledge Assessments) are designed to analyse a learner's ability. These SKAs will then generate a list of recommended topics (within a Student's 'Personal Learning Plan').

These topics are based on the performance of the learner during this Subject Knowledge Assessment, and the student's weaker topics will be added to their Personal Learning Plan.

When a Student Retakes an SKA, all existing recommended topics within their Personal Learning Plan will remain. Any new topics that they have performed poorly on in their new SKA will be added to their plan.

The Personal Learning Plan encourages students to utilise the Revision, Practice and Topic Test features within their weaker topics.
