Step by Step Guide
1. Click on 'Add New Student'
2. Fill in the student's details, including name and email.
Each account on our system requires a unique email address. Please contact your account manager if you come into any issues regarding this when trying to create an account.
3. You can either let the student make their own password or set one for them.
If you let the student set their own password they will only get 24 hours to use the link that is sent to their email.
4. You can enrol students on free courses by clicking 'Add Course' and selecting them from the drop down. There is also the option to add planned end dates for each course here.
You can also add the free courses afterwards if you an unsure of the level you would like to enrol the student on.
5. You can allow learners to first take the initial assessment before enrolling them on a course.
This allows you to see the level they are working at. Forcing the initial assessment means that the learner can't complete any of the course until all the forced initial assessments have been completed.
7. You can also force the Subject Knowledge Assessments (SKAs).
Subject Knowledge Assessments are another kind of diagnostic test that give the learners a list of their weaker areas to allow them to focus their revision. These weaker areas are called their 'recommended topics'.
Learners will still be prompted to do the SKA if not forced but forcing means they cannot progress without completing it.
7. You can then add the learner to different groups
It is up to you whether you group your students and how you chose do so.
If you are an 'Organisation Manager' you will have the option to attach them to different teachers also.
