What information is on the dashboard?

The teacher dashboard and the organisation manager dashboard are practically identical just with a few differences.

The dashboard displays information that is organisation wide.

Learners ready for their exam

These are students who have been marked as 'ready for exam' on the provider platform, this is currently only counted per student rather than per course.

Unread Messages

This shows the number of messages sent to students which are yet to be read against all notes that have been sent to students in the organisation.

Learners waiting to sit their exam

This refers to students that have an exam date in the future for any course against all students within the organisation.

Learners waiting for results

Here you will see the number of students who have sat an exam but are yet to receive their results.

Learner Exams

Course user counts for:

  • ‘Ready for exam’ status: Where the exam date is in the future or not yet set.
  • ‘Waiting for Exam’ status: An exam is booked for a date in the future.
  • ‘Waiting for Results’ status: An exam date is in the past and the learner does not yet have results.

This data is then split by course, so a Student could be represented in any of the 4 courses shown.

Teacher Overview

This is just visible to organisation managers.

It shows all teachers in an organisation, with the number of students they are attached to, the number of unread messages they have sent to students and the date that they last logged in.

Academic Success Rates

Course users who have an exam sitting record, split by course.

  • Maths has only one component so is as simple as pass or fail
  • English is more complex, having three components. Until the Student has sat all 3 components they will not be represented in these charts since they are seen as ‘incomplete’

All ‘fails’ are counted, if a Student passes on the third attempt, 2 fails will have been counted. Likewise, if a student passes on their third or more attempt, they are counted in the ‘Pass third or more’ group, all preceding failures are counted as normal. Cancelled or voided attempts are also counted.

Initial Assessment Completion Rate

This shows the proportion of students who have and haven't completed at least one of their initial assessments.

Courses Recommended from Initial Assessments

This graph shows which courses students were recommended based on their performance in the initial assessment. Each course has a threshold that must be achieved in order for the course to be recommended.

Learners by Planned End Date

To get the most out of this stat you need to set students planned end dates in their account. You will then be able to see the proportion of students who have gone past their planned end date.

Learners Completing Subject Knowledge Assessment by Course

Course users who have completed a subject knowledge assessment, and those who have yet to complete one.

Number of Learners Per Level

Here you can see students grouped by their current level on a course. A student will appear multiple times if they are enrolled on more than one course

Learners By Distance Travelled

This graph shows the 'distance travelled' by students, this refers to the difference in their initial level and their current level. A student can appear on here multiple times if they are enrolled on multiple courses.

Recent Initial Assessment Results

This table shows students who have recently completed an initial assessment. It can be filtered by subject, course and how long since they took the initial assessment (e.g. 1 week, 1 month, 1 year etc)
