How to arrange a resit exam (as a provider student)

After you have sat your exam it will take 10 to 16 working days to receive your results. Once we get these through from the exam board we will email you with your mark and whether you have or haven't passed.

If you receive your results and it is unfortunately a fail, then please reply to your results email to say that you would like to book in for your resit.

For English, you only need to resit the components that you have failed. For example, you may have passed your SLC and reading exams but failed your writing exam, you only need to resit the one hour writing exam.

For maths, you will need to resit the whole exam again.

Resitting does incur a cost. Once you have requested a resit, we will contact your provider to make sure they are able to cover this.
